滚筒筛（圆筒筛）即滚筒式筛分设备，广泛用于冶金，建材，化工，粮食，医药，化肥等多个
行业的干式粉料或颗粒状物料的筛分，也可以用于颗粒状湿式物料的筛分。
滚筒筛有圆柱形，截圆锥形，角柱形以及角锥型的工作表面，圆柱形和角柱形滚筒筛的回转轴线通常装成不大的倾角（4-7度），而锥形圆筒筛则是装成水平。被筛物料从筒体一段装入筒内，由于筒体的回转，物料就会沿筒体内壁滑动，细粒物料经过工作表面上的筛孔落到接回漏斗中，而粗粒物料则是从筒体的另一端排出。
滚筒筛的转速很低，工作平稳，没有不平衡的工作不分，故可装在建筑物的上层。滚筒筛一般只有中筛和细筛。滚筒筛筒体的支撑方式有滚子支撑，轴承支撑和混合支撑等三种，滚筒筛是由齿轮和减速器传动，或中心传动，托滚传动。
滚筒筛在大孔径筛分段被筛分出来的情况，垃圾在滚筒筛中必须经过充分的翻料，而且垃圾的移动速度不能过快。通常在滚筒内壁都会装上挠板，它的作用就是提升垃圾颗粒，让不同粒径的垃圾颗粒都尽可能有机会接触到筛孔，如果符合孔径的要求，颗粒就能透筛，达到滚筒筛分选的目的。
